Southwestern Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome Family Physician, Barbara Carlson, MD, to our staff. She is accepting new patients at our St. Joseph office.

Prior to Dr. Carlson joining Southwestern Medical Clinic, she was employed by Memorial Medical Group in South Bend, Indiana. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is also a graduate of Indiana University South Bend, and University of Illinois.

Dr. Carlson has always enjoyed the full spectrum of Family Practice, with a special interest in Women’s Health. At the Southwestern Medical Clinic, St. Joseph she is providing well-women exams, breast cancer risk counseling, pap smears, and other routine gynecological and general medicine services.
