Starting January 1, 2011, all blood and laboratory specimens collected at this office will be automatically sent to the Lakeland Laboratory for testing.

It is important for patients to understand the details of their health insurance plans to ensure the best financial option. This office is not responsible for charges incurred if the Lakeland Laboratory is not approved by the patient’s insurance company.

Patients are encouraged to confirm their insurance coverage by calling the number on the back of their insurance card. Southwestern Medical Clinic staff needs to be told in advance if the patient’s insurance requires them to use a different laboratory.
